“Nature with light” is contemplated, and its image is brought into view. The space between light and matter, the massless and the massive, ubiquity and locality—along with the quiet sorrow and consonance that lie between—is revisited. Life systems formed within this nature are also pursued: transforming consciousness and sensation. Here, life, environment, and computation are harmonized by light, permeating space and time. Through creation and expression across sound, moving image, materials, and other media, the facets of light-formed nature are rendered, and evolving life systems are constructed.
